I started volunteering at Ranfurly about seven years ago and a board member for the last three years.

The children always come first. I have seen the care and love from the community, our mentors, our donors and especially our staff.

September 2019 saw us pushed to our limits after taking in children from Grand Bahama because of the devastation of hurricane Dorian and we thrived.

Then in March of this year, Covid 19 came to our shores & online learning. The home went into complete lockdown for the children’s safety.

Watching the staff and our President of the Board making extraordinary sacrifices for the children was inspiring.

I am so proud of the family we have built.
