My Nonprofit Reviews

Avodah has provided me with a vast network of Jewish people committed to combating poverty and engaging in intentional, community-driven justice work. As a core member in 2010-11 in Chicago, my experience provided me grounded me with a critical compass and foundation for the public service, community building and organizing work I would continue to engage in for the following decade and beyond. My placement was with America Scores Chicago after-school programs which kicked off my career in youth development work. As an alum, I am continuously amazed by the resource-sharing, advocacy, dialogues and comradery of the Avodah network. I am proud to be an alum and donor to this transformative work.
