I love Diamond in the Rough Youth Development. This is my second year mentoring and my daughters third year being a part of this organization. I am so thankful that my daughter has a positive place to help her grow into the beautiful young lady she is becoming. This organization has helped my daughter have a voice where she did not have the confidence to do so. I am happy to have signed on to help other girls to become the most beautiful selves they can be.

Diamond in the Rough is a very thorough and well organized program that is motivational and spiritually uplifting for the girls. This year is my first as a mentor and I am truly loving the experience I have with my fellow mentors and the girls. This is my daughter's second year in the program as a mentee and when I saw how the program exposed her to positive content that can stick with her throughout her life, I knew I wanted to be a part of the program myself as a mentor. I do not regret my decision and I am happy to be able to help provide a safe space for the girls to open up and share their stories and help mentor them into wonderful beautiful young women.
