They are very transparent about the day to operations of the sanctuary. They are GFAS accredited, so the don't buy, sell, trade, touch, or breed the animals.

BCR was a great place to visit. You can tell that the keepers really care about the animals. They take such good care of them by providing enrichment and USDA quality food.
