I have been a member of Women in Film & Video Inc for several years and have attended many excellent programs in person and now virtual about various aspects of the television and film industry. Melissa Houghton, WIFV's Executive Director, has offered sage advice on many occasions and recommended excellent colleagues for freelance gigs. WIFV has also provided opportunities to network with the larger DMV film & video community. This group deserves to be recognized and thanked for all the work its doing for filmmakers.
