The Achieve Tahoe motto says it all: If I can do this, I can do anything. On a daily basis with this organization, people living with physical and other challenges do things once thought impossible. From snow skiing to rock climbing, participants with the widest possible range of disabilities acquire new athletic skills in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. With these achievements, invariably comes the question: What other things in my life can I do? The volunteer experience has been life changing for me. It has been an opportunity to combine passions for outdoor activities and "giving back".
