Review for Kyle David Miller Foundation, Confier, CO, USA
As a family that has struggled to make ends meet we were very upset that our daughter would have to move into a booster before she was ready. I wanted to keep her harnessed but was not going to be able to afford a seat that would keep her harnessed. I was told about the Kyle David Miller Foundation. I looked at the website and honestly if I wasn't already wanting to keep her harnessed I would have after reading Kyle's story. I filled out the application and waited. The day I received the email stating that my daughter would receive a Britax Regent from the Foundation I was so excited I called my husband at work and a few family members. I was a bit worried about such a large seat but once we had it I have been very happy as well as my daughter. We have told many family members and friends about the Foundation. The Foundation is truely a life saver.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my own life. They have helped me keep my child safe.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
not change a thing.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
how they have taken one, if not the worst, experience of their lives and turned it into a wonderful way to help keep other children safe.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
very kind and caring. They truely care for every child.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Truely make a great impact on all the families who need help and education on keeping children safe.
Ways to make it better...
more people and companies would help with donations. I was on a waiting list because of a slow flow of donations and high volume of applications for help.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
meeting the needs of the families asking for help. The more donations they receive the more families they can help.
One thing I'd also say is that...
the Kyle David Miller Foundation and Family has made such a great choice on taking a tragic event to help so many people keep the same from hapening to other children and families.
