Review for Global One to One (D.B.A. Project Peacepal), Albuquerque, NM, USA
I was so impressed with what this organization is doing to promote peace through friendship that I joined the Board! When you read the letters from kids around the world, it is at once wonderful to see all the common denominators and moving to realize that basics such as school supplies, sports equipment - even bed nets to prevent malaria - are in short supply. It is so inspiring to see the US penpals raising funds and doing special projects to help their new friends in faraway lands.

Seeing the excitement on the kids' faces when their letter arrive is great. They so openly accept ideas about other ways of living and are naturally curious and want to learn.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would want this organization to get more funding from individual donors! For just $15 a year, you can make a difference in the effort to promote peace instead of waging war. This is the Little Engine that Could, but it needs more fuel to get to the next level and expand. Please consider supporting Project PeacePal!
