My very first experience with the WeLoveU Foundation was a blood drive.

I had given blood before then. I became light-headed & very weak after, and it took me much longer than others to recover. Because of this, I had given blood only twice before.

When I gave blood with the WeLoveU Foundation for the first time, the volunteers took extra care of me, giving me a place to rest, bringing me extra snacks & drinks, and sitting with me to keep me company.

The love & care I received made me want to give to others as I received. Now, I participate in every blood drive with the contagious joy of the other volunteers. Every time, it gets easier and I recover faster!

I think the genuine love of the volunteers helps even more than their hands that are doing the work.
