Review for St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, SD, USA
I have been supporting St Josephs for quite a few years and I believe they are doing a wonderful job of caring for and educating the children and families of the Lakota Souix. While some of the negative ratings about fundraising and gifts are always worth researching, I still feel they are not enough to stop my donating what I can. I have had phone calls and greeting cards and e-mails and videos for my review and comment. I have also requested to stop receiving the gifts which I feel could be used by others and my request was honored. So , considering the amount of charities in the U.S. which find a way to my mailbox and believe me they are many and overwhelming, I have to be selective. I am retired military on a fixed income and can only donate a finite amount so the Lakota children and Wounded Warriors along with the USO are my choices . No negativity and stay positive during these trying times. God Bless.
Thank you for sharing such kind words about or mission here at St. Joseph's Indian School! We truly could not provide for our Lakota boys and girls if it weren't for our loving supporters. Wopila tanka-many thanks !
