The Feingold Association has done so much for my family, with their research and diet outline and guidance.
My nephew was put on the diet over 35 years ago, at age 4, he wa hyperactive and nearly out of control at times. Following the diet, he was able to calm down and interact with the family again and he said it made him feel so much better! He would go to the grocery store with his mother, and read the labels to be sure he was eating the safe foods.
My grandson is on the Autism Spectrum, and has sensory processing disorder. He also has extreme food sensitivities, to artificial colors and flavors, preservatives, etc.
We started him on the Feingold Diet nearly 8 years ago, at the age of 3. The changes took time, but were dramatic. Now we know what foods and additives he is sensitive to, he avoids them, and he is able to be calm and fun loving, and feel comfprtable in his skin again.
Two generations, and we would be lost without The Feingold Association!
I only wish I had millions to contribute to their worthy cause!! They have earned it over and over again with the thousands if not millions of children and adults around the world that they have helped!
