Studies have shown the importance of books in the development of young children. For too many children, their families and schools books are not available to them. Book Fairies solves that problem. They use their connections within communities, businesses and higher education to leverage resources and funding. What started as one woman’s vision has expanded to become a major effort to get books into the hands of the children that need them most. Access to books can open the world to a child. They can feed there inquiring mind and begin a journey that will last a lifetime. I am happy that I am able to donate to this important effort.
