After a long career in a corporate role, I wanted to give back in a meaningful way. I was so impressed when I found Assistance League Norman. I began shopping with children at Operation School Bell and had absolutely no idea what an impact I could make in someone else's life. The kids love telling me about their classes, their families, their dreams, and how happy they are to fit in with their new clothes. I find it is not only about the clothes but more importantly about the connection you make with a child in need. The smiles and genuine happiness the children share with all the volunteers is truly heartwarming.
