I just started volunteering for Jacobs Heart this year. What an amazing organization! I was given a tour on the first day and learned of all the services and support they provide to the children and their families. Wow, I was impressed! I now go every week and help pack up the food that comes in and deliver it to families in Watsonville, Salinas and Santa Cruz. It makes me feel good knowing that during this crazy time these families are still able to to get fresh food and know that people are still there for them and support them. I can't even imagine what these families are going through but I know that the staff and volunteers at Jacobs Heart are there for them.
