Being a volunteer for CRESLI is very rewarding. I love being out on the water and we have a great success rate of coming across dolphins or whales on each trip. The experience of being near marine mammals in their environment cannot be described in words, you have to be out there to understand. I especially love to see the excitement in the faces of the passengers and we always hear squeals from the children when they see dolphin. Seeing marine mammals in person will help people see how important it is that we take care of our oceans by not polluting and limit boat traffic in certain areas. This is a wonderful volunteer opportunity and very important for the marine mammals.
