We want to age in our own own home, as long as possible. With Capital Village, we have received every volunteer service and vetted provider service we have requested. The real benefit has been wonderful medical and educational programs and knowing some amazing Austin neighbors who we never would have met otherwise. We have met and become friends with our 97 year old neighbor who is a WWII Veteran and an amazing CCV member who is 101 years old and had a fascinating life.
Capital City Village is unique in Austin, as a non-profit organization which is run with ideas and volunteerism from the members, with only 3 professional staff.
