I am coming up on my 14 th trip to Guatemala. I love working with Fundamaya when I get there. I sponsor a couple of children for school. We always get to go visit them and see how our students are doing in school. We also have gone to a few of the preschools and we bring projects for the young children to do with us. We also have gone to San Jorje to provide and serve lunch to the elderly. Sometimes we play bingo with them too.. Every trip is a new and fun experience. FUNDAMAYA is a very helpful group with an excellent staff and they are already courteous and willing to work with us. .

I've worked with this group for quite awhile and they always are there to help. Even with this pandemic I send money, food is delivered within a few days. My girl that i sponsor had a terrible toothache i sent money and they made sure she got the care she needed. The staff is amazing. They have spent days taking my small group around and helped us put in stoves and water filters. Took us to serve the elderly and we had a blast playing bingo with them too. We have gone to many preschools and the staff and teachers welcome us and we get to be with the children. Involved not observers. I have been going down since 2009. Great group
