I fostered Ben through Guardian Angels for Soldier’s Pet. We had him for about six months and then we made sure he got on an airline and safely made it to London to reunited with his owner. This was one of the most rewarding experiences ever. We fell in love with Ben right away and cried when we had to say goodbye. We stayed in touch with Ben and his Dad for a few years before Ben passed away. He was a huge dog that lived to be 14. I would do this again in a heartbeat if I had fewer dogs myself. This agency is so wonderful and I knew I was making it easier for a Service person to have peace of mind about their beloved pet while serving this wonderful country that we call home.
