My Nonprofit Reviews

My time as a political affairs intern with The Borgen Project taught me the skills necessary to work in the political and legal field, including acceptance of feedback, quality of work, and communication skills. I was also able to advance my punctuality, communication, and professionalism skills by completing assigned tasks, attending meetings with congressional staff, and communicating with my supervisors. I was also challenged to step outside my comfort zone when working on projects I had not previously been exposed to. I believe that my time with The Borgen Project taught me a lot about the world, but also about professional expectations.
