My Nonprofit Reviews

I am a senior in high school who recently served on the Youth Advisory Board at Sandy Hook Promise. Going into the position, I was relatively new to the actual implementation of programs in schools. I had only been running a SAVE Promise Club for about half a school year and had only heard of the organization previously through my mother. During my time on the board, I met countless amazing people. Between the students who worked alongside me, the adults who guided us, and the eventual recipients of SHP programs, there was not an instance where I was not learning and growing. I went on a journey to teach others, but found myself to be the ultimate student of SHP and its supporters.
