My Nonprofit Reviews

As a volunteer with this group, I'm consistently impressed with the degree of creativity and engagement they get from their community. They take young adults with chronic illnesses (HIV/AIDS, cancer, rare genetic, sickle cell, etc) and not only give them tools for navigating the world as an adult, but space to meet others in their position, and develop a supporting community. Between campferences, music therapy, theater-therapy, etc, Next Step is a fun, adaptable, and incredibly useful way for people in tough medical situations to self-actualize and reach their full potential.
