Review for Center For People In Need Inc, Lincoln, NE, USA

Rating: 4 stars

This is great for elementary or middle school kids. It let's you help people without staying the night. This is an easy, fun job that anyone can do.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The kid's faces when they receive the toys.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Make a larger sign so people can notice it easier.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Recognizing toys, and setting out ones that I know are popular.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Nice, approachable people who want to get to know you.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Give everyone in lincoln a toy.

Ways to make it better...

The tables were draped with a tablecloth. (I got a splinter)

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Robbery. (or fake poor people)

One thing I'd also say is that...

Wash your hands after wards. You don't know where those tables, boxes, etc. have been.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2007

Role:  Volunteer & I sorted stuffed animals for families to get for free, because they can't pay for toys and bills.

Review for Youth With A Mission Gleanings For The Hungry, Sultana, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This is a great place to come to do mission work! You feel safer than ever, and you make friends easily. A great place for christians to freely worship 24/7. Go to www.gleaningsforthehungry.com for even better info. p.s. It's in dinuba, a tiny town very close to sultana.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The way people act after they leave. In the people who have heard about them.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Do what they do.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

It feels like paradise. (even when you're covered in peach stains :) )

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

The people are REALLY FRIENDLY!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Feed and preach to millions of poor people who have nothing to hold on to.

Ways to make it better...

Nothing could make it better, unless we were all sinless.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

The economy. I hope they can survive the tough financial issues of our country.

One thing I'd also say is that...

For them to receive donations would be extremely helpful.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2008

Role:  Volunteer & I dehydrated peaches on an outdoor conveyor belt line, and packaged them to send to third world countries.
