We adopted 2 wonderful dogs from Briggs in Sep 2020. I was impressed with the staff and how caring they are. They really wanted to make sure each animal goes to the right forever home, and to me that is so important. We adopted Tina and Jax who had been at the shelter for 2 years, and the shelter was very straightforward about what the pups needs were and answering our questions. We loved that we were able to visit them multiple times to get to know them without pressure to adopt them, and even once we knew they would be a good fit, they waited till we finished getting their new home ready. They have a vet on staff which means vet records are detailed and helpful; their new vet was impressed with having a full history! I imagen having a vet on staff also helps every animal get their care they need and cost more manageable. Sam was amazing to work with, and I enjoy getting to sent updates about the pups to her. The adoption fee is reasonable, and application process is good.
