I have been described as a professional volunteer since my kids started school. So when my best friend whom I consider a sister asked for help with Healing Warrior Hearts and Starfish foundation. I couldn't say no!! Many of my family members are military veterans and knowing what they endured in the military made me more motivated to help them out. I started helping with Silent Auctons at events like the Poker Run. I was honored to donate my time and efforts collecting items and assembling baskets. I was always looking for new ideas to help them earn funds to provide free retreats for veterans. We loved joining in on Chritmas eve to assemble and distribute gifts to the Veterans hospital. To have the opportunity to Thank our military for their service is so rewarding!! My family and I were honored to be invited to a Graduation ceremony to witness this event leaves you breathless. To see our veterans healing touches your soul. I cant Thank Patricia enough for her dedication to our veterans and keeping this organization going. I look forward to many more events and helping however we can!
