Review for Military Missions in Action, Fuquay Varina, NC, USA
Their dedication extends even beyond our veterans and military population for whom they provide volunteers to help with making homes handicap accessible, toiletries for the homeless, donations which include furniture, appliances, and so much more. Their true passion is to help! Whether in a flood ravaged area, in need of furniture, food, clothing, whatever MMIA has that can help restore some basics to struggling families, they are there to provide whatever assistance they can. I have worked with Mike Dorman on the Night to Shine prom which allows special needs children to enjoy their very own prom and MMIA was instrumental in donating a variety of items to make this night even more special and Mike and his volunteers make a point of being there to assist on this incredible night The number and magnitude of projects they undertake involves 10 hr work days even at times including Saturday and Sunday in their effort to ensure that struggling families have their needs met as soon as possible. Their sacrifice and devotion extends far beyond our community This organization is comprised of of selfless and loyal volunteers Their tireless efforts on behalf of those in need and their continued search for opportunities to serve is something we should all try to emulate.
