My Nonprofit Reviews

Several years ago, I was the chair of the board for this organization. It was already a highly respected, highly impactful organization that one reviewed by donors always received rave reviews. I have worked with many organizations over the years, but very few with this level of quality, transparency, and leadership.

I am the former Board Chair for Urban Ed, and I can't say enough positive things. Founder and President Roxanne Williams is an extraordinary leader and true visionary. She has worked tirelessly from day 1 to create an organization that changes lives and levels the playing field through technology education. She and Violet care deeply about all of the students and are consistently focused on expanding opportunities. They are very careful about spending and transparent about their activities. They are a model of excellency in the non-profit space.
