This organization has it all, when it comes to helping animals. They get their message out across the entire country and address problems by enlightening the public exactly what each type of care is needed. They are the best rescue I've found online to date, and it would take a LOT to beat them for their widespread concern, care, and help for animals in need all over the country.

I've rescued animals since before I could walk...from reptiles to every other type of lifeform. I was one of the lucky ones...who had parents who were also animal lovers and never refused to help me with anything I dragged home. Okay, they did make me take a rattle snake back out to the foothills and let it go again after convincing me it's tail would heal without my help. I never knew until I was 21 that my mother had a deadly fear of snakes. I was always bringing them home if I found one that was injured. When I asked my mother why she had never told me that, she just smiled that sweet mommy smile and said it was because she knew it was a stupid fear and she didn't want me to have it.

To me, Lady Freethinker is like my mother. They don't refuse any animal that needs help. While I seldom have the money to donate to any rescue (I do a lot of that on my own) I do support them in every other way I can.

I've worked with quite a few non-profits, and Lady Freethinker is right up at the top in how I feel rescues should be run. From it's inception up until today, it has been well thought out (in my opinion) and has (ad still is) giving credit where credit is due...to the volunteers and others who work so hard to make Nina's dream into this what it is today, and will be in the future.
Most of my animals and 2 Cockatoos are rescues. I adopted 2 dogs from Lady Freethinker and will adopt again when I have the room. All of the animals receive loving care and every other thing they need until they find their forever homes.

The Lady Freethinker daily emails alert me to many petitions to sign to help animals in need, and bring justice for animals that have been abused to punish the perpetrator to the full extent of the law... and hopefully make them do jail time. I love this part of the newsletter because I don't have a lot of time to spend on the computer looking for ways to help stop the abuse and hold the abusers accountable.

She also includes posts about updated medical care we can access and heartwarming stories of rescue success all over the world...which she is heavily involved with.

Lady Freethinker's daily email deserves all the exposure it can get to make it an even greater opportunity for people like me to help make a difference in so many different areas of her Animal Rights movement. All animals deserve humane treatment and to live their lives according to their species, and her goal is to make this happen.
