I have been volunteering as an assistant coach for SWB Boston for a little over a year now. I am always impressed with the SWB staff and coaches and their commitment to creating an outlet for the kids through soccer and instilling the inclusive values of SWB. It has been a rewarding experience for me to work with SWB and the middle school boys team I support. The boys on the team seem to gain a lot from the experience and, most importantly, enjoy having the outlet of playing soccer as a part of the SWB team.

I have learned a lot from my experience and enjoy being a mentor to the boys on the team. I would recommend the experience of being a volunteer to anyone who wants to play a part in the success of the broader community of their city.
