Not only does NHRP do great advocacy work, but they also do their email campaigns in a way that actually makes me look forward to their emails. The emails aren't just asking for money and social media shares; they offer a number of actionable steps you can take to support their work, with different kinds of resources (ie time, money, effort, network reach) required from you, so that there's actually something for everyone. Their petitions aren't meaningless ways to collect data, but actual documents used to advocate for their clients. They share interesting, exciting information about nonhumans and stories of success as well as struggle, so you're not always opening an email that makes you want to cry. I can't say enough good things about my experience with NHRP so far. Please support them and the vibrant elephants, primates, and other nonhuman clients they serve.
