My son Matteo’s life has remarkably improved not only physically but also emotionally and socially. Matteo was born with Cortical Dysplasia and presents with similar symptoms as those with CP. Matteo also has cognitive delays which makes it harder for him to form meaningful relationships. However, attending Dancing Dreams dance class every week has given him that sense of belonging not only socially but has also helped him to form lasting friendships with volunteers, staff and friends. Joann has known Matteo since he was a toddler. She treats the dancers with so much respect and empathy that you can tell they all look forward to her dance class. The look on their faces just says it all! Thank you Joann! Thank you to all dancing dreams staff and volunteers. You are truly making such an impact on our kids! ❤️
