Animal Guardians Horse Rescue exemplifies what is best about non-profits when they are guided by the principles of volunteerism, community, and education. This organization shows that acting locally, supporting the community, and encouraging education can truly uplift and create short and long-term change. The president of the organization sets the tone by working tirelessly and collaboratively to not only help the rescue horses, but involve and empower the community when doing so. Collaborations like Dine4Horses promotes rescue while supporting local restaurants. It’s amazing to watch what this organization has accomplished under the guidance of its remarkable founder!
