There are a lot of organizations that help sentient non-human beings, and those are great, but the Nonhuman Rights Project is really fighting to change *the system* that allows them to be abused and exploited. They provide regular updates on their legal work and their clients. They expose some of the worst abusers and let us know what actions we can take to help.
