I have worked for the Star of Hope International Foundation for over 15 years. Throughout my time, I have seen the organization educating children from destitute backgrounds and turning them into doctors, teachers, bankers, businessmen, leaders of other organizations, and much more. I am happy to have been part of the team that is making a difference in the poor communities among us.

My name is Gilbert Ochieng, the Operations Director at Star of Hope Internal Foundation Kenya. We are part of the Star of Hope organizations across the world helping 1,500 destitute children in Kenya acquire quality basic education while benefiting from the vital school feeding program. We are very grateful to Star of Hope International America for having played a key role in fundraising to support our school projects throughout the years.
During this Coronavirus Pandemic period. Our children have been negatively affected by the environments they live in. Star Of Hope International America helped us start a Pastoral Care Program for our 400 teenage children. Through this program, our children are engaged with professional counsellors from the government who help them address their challenges. These children have also received monthly relief food packages to last their families in this crisis. Our children have been receiving self-care packages including sanitary towels for the girls.
