I have known Betsy Haas, the founder of Aide for Animals, for about 20 years through my own animal rescue volunteer work and have found her to be the most generous, kind hearted, patient, and loving individual I have ever met. I have also found that she has a genuine reverence and respect for all life: that she is tireless in her efforts to rescue and care for all animals and provide the best care, nourishment and enrichment to all the little souls that come in contact with her and her facility. Aide for Animals was founded by Betsy and she actually resides on the Aide for Animals property in order to be available day and night to unselfishly perform and maintain care and medical treatment for the helpless, abandoned and injured animals in her sanctuary. Aide for Animals works vigorously to find suitable, safe, loving, and forever homes for all the animals that can be re-homed. In addition they provide a home-like environment for each and every little one, regardless of what needs or special needs each may have that for one reason or another must live out their lives with Betsy at Aide for Animals. If every animal that has come in contact with Betsy and Aide for Animals’ love could sing out their thanks their sweet song would be so resounding that it could be heard around the world.
