My daughter was always what we called widgtey, couldn't hold still, always bouncing, slept horribly. Around the age of tree she started throwing up a lot and started having horrible bloody noses. By age four she became very violent and uncontrollable. She developed tics, would claw at her own skin and beg someone to "get her out of here". Our family life was dissolving because of the stress if surviving day to day. Desperate I did random Google searches. One day I saw something about dye problems, and things started to click---first time she had cereal she was sick, the first vitamin, fruity slush from restaurant. Her worst behavior was when she was sick and we gave her cough medicine. We immediately eliminated dyes and things improved but not completely. That was when I found Feingold and it had the last pieces of all our puzzles. In addition to getting to know my wonderful child for the first time, my anxiety and restless legs eased up dramatically. We will never not be a Feingold family.
