What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
a sense and conscious appreciation for place. I move a lot but Chewonki taught me that I can find a closeness to each new place and i've found that this renewed sense of connection to the places i live encourages my interest in conservation of areas where I may only live or visit for brief periods of time.
