Being an active member of Ellie's Army is both an honor and a deeply humbling experience. Of all the charities I've given to throughout the years, Ellie's Army Foundation is the only one to ever make me feel as though my contributions were valued. With other charities, I have no idea whether or not my donation is being put to good use; but Ellie's Army has consistently sent me hand-written thank you notes explaining just how I've helped. I've been to their last two Dirty Socks 5Ks, and the energy at those events was like nothing I've ever felt before. Seeing so many community members from all walks of life coming together to raise money for these families with sick children is a profound experience. God bless Ellie's Army Foundation and the work that they do--it truly changes lives.
