I was part of Political Affairs Team at the Borgen Project and I got to work for a period of three months with them. This experience was really great for me as it helped me gain mobilizing and lobbying skills. My lobbying meetings were really successful and this empowered me to put in so much work towards the cause. The people at the organization were really friendly and supportive. The other interns were also super cool. I have enhanced my communication, public speaking, fundraising as well as networking skills through this opportunity. I definitely recommend everyone to check out the Borgen Project and do their part in reducing global poverty. I could not have spent my 2020 summer any other way.
