I learned about this org through a friend who was in need of service because she was in a very bad situation. I have had the privilege of volunteering at one of their events (5k) race last year to raise funds to support he women in the safe house program. The safe house is where vulnerable women desperate for safety and protection form their pimps and abusers go for refuge. In the program women are treated with the highest level of compassion and care, they are not treated like in a shelter but with every gesture of empathy in a home like setting, I am very pleased that I was able to see first hand in my friend how much LifeWay goes the extra mile to make sure all survivors are treated with dignity in the care they provide.
