Volunteering with The Priceless Journey has been a beautiful, faith-stretching experience that continues to shape me in unexpected ways. While I don’t go into the jail weekly, each time God opens the door for us to enter, I know it’s by His perfect timing and each visit carries eternal weight.

When I step into that space, I carry with me the powerful truth of the gospel and the message of hope found in Jesus Christ. Sharing that hope with women who are often overlooked or forgotten by society is a sacred privilege. Through God’s Word, we remind them that they are not their past, not their mistakes, and certainly not without worth. We tell them the truth: that they are deeply loved, seen, and chosen by God.

What surprises me every time is how much I receive during those visits. Watching their hearts soften, seeing tears fall as truth breaks through shame and pain…it humbles me. It grows me. It reminds me that healing doesn’t happen in a vacuum; it often comes through obedience, compassion, and simply showing up when God calls.

This ministry continually calls me to trust God’s timing and sovereignty. Sometimes, the doors to the jail are closed for a season, and I’ve learned to pray, wait, and prepare. And when they reopen, I go with a heart full of anticipation for what God wants to do, not just in the women we minister to, but in me as well.

Bringing the gospel into the jail has deepened my understanding of grace, strengthened my dependence on the Holy Spirit, and expanded my view of what it means to be a vessel for God’s love. I may not be able to go often, but each moment inside is holy ground where Jesus shows up, healing begins, and hope is born again.

TPJ is such a wonderful organization spreading love and reaching out to help those that often can't help themselves out of a horrible situation. I fully support their mission and pray for them often.

The Priceless Journey Inc is a wonderful organization, focused on the well-being of women who have been victims of the human trafficking industry. This group goes beyond helping women break free from the human trafficking lifestyle. They help the victims regain their independence and self-esteem while nurturing them through God's Word. They help them to remember that they are loved by God and cherished in His eyes. Their book, "You Are Priceless", helps comfort those who are broken in their hearts. They read about other people's struggles and how they have been touched and restored by God. Priceless Journey Inc is literally the hands and feet of Jesus going out to seek those who need Him. Their message in this book is not only for those who are victims of human trafficking, but those who are just broken from other experiences in their lives. It really is a book for anyone.
