I have been volunteering for this organization for 13 years. The first week I was a part of camp changed my life forever. Sending children with cancer to camp can seem a little weird when you first hear it... Like, don't these kids need a cure more than a week away? But as much as we are all hoping and striving that the researchers find a cure as soon as possible, this camp helps make what time they have special and fun again. This organization was founded on the belief that there is nothing we can do about the quantity of years we have in this life, but we can do something about the quality of it. Camp Quality helps kids with cancer and their families smile and laugh and enjoy the fun of being a kid again.
