Teddy Roosevelt was a president who had vision. My family and I have visited several national parks and are thankful for his foresight.

It is difficult for us to visit the parks because we live in Hawaii. Yes, Hawaii is beautiful however the National parks on the “mainland” give us a different yet no less breathtaking experience. Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Grand Canyon, Yosemite have given us unforgettable memories.

Let us all do our part to support these bastions of natural beauty. Put on Teddy’s glasses and share his vision. Ah hui hou. Joe Aloha Kailua
