Chewonki's mission is one that has grown within me over the years. The lessons learned benefitted me both as an educator, but more importantly as a person.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
...the faces and minds of those who are involved with the oranization. It is very easy to identify people who have been through the Chewonki program in New England and throughout the country. In speaking with a young woman in the Atlanta airport a couple of years ago, I asked her if she had gone to Chewonki. She was amazed to know how I knew.
