First Graduate is a wonderful non-profit. They are focused on supporting students in the SF unified school district that will be the first in their family to attend a university. They engage the students very early on in their school career and provide them very impactful support. It is amazing to see how the students feel supported. I have been involved in the organization for many years as a volunteer and now a board member and cannot recommend them highly enough. It is run by a staff that is very passionate about supporting their students and there are many wonderful volunteering opportunities.

First Graduate is very unique in many respects. They focus on children that will be the first in their family to graduate from college. They will then support the children over many years to get them the support they need to successfully finish school, apply to colleges, and then successfully graduate from college. The organization is so dedicated to the kids and it is amazing to see how they thrive!
