Where to start?! I have volunteered for many non-profit organizations in my life but this has to be one of the best organized places I have ever worked with. The Owners Erin and Chis are the most caring and compassionate people I have met. It absolutely shows how much they care about rescuing abused farm animals. Peacefulness & lots of love lives here. Genuine concern is demonstrated for each animal's well-being & health at all times. This place has a true heart for giving the abused and neglected farm animals a second chance for the rest of their lives it is a truly special place. They host tours and events to educate the public in a very loving way about the meat and dairy industry, by letting you physically interact with the animals. You get to go into the pastures and spend time with them and see that they are such loving and smart animals just like our cats and dogs. Of course, they operate on donations so if you have a heart for these things please think about contributing to their cause or check out some of their volunteer opportunities. In all honesty I wished I was a cow so I could go and live there. Because the sanctuary truly is the definition of heaven on earth. PS all photos I took at CCFS
