Sempervirens Fund is doing so much great work to preserve the Redwoods in my home state of California and they are one of my favorite charities. From their hikes and seminars, to the land they protect and steward, to the recovery they are working on from the recent wildfires, the work that Sempervirens conducts is hugely important and there is no other organization I would trust. Thank you for all you do to educate hikers and consumers, and to save some of my favorite places in the world!

Sempervirens Fund's core mission is to serve and protect the natural land and habitat that I grew up visiting, the land that has inspired me with so much joy and wonder, the land I call home. Living abroad in Australia this year my partner surprised me with a visit to the California Redwoods Forest in Beech Forest, VIC along the Great Ocean Road. Planted in 1939, these trees were part of a seed exchange between the USA and Aus. It meant so much to find this little patch of heaven so far from home. I am grateful for Sempervirens' work to preserve these natural wonders so that they will be there to explore and admire when I return, and for future generations to come.
