Review for Pawsitive Perspectives Assistance Dogs (PawPADs), Lakeville, MN, USA
I became an ADEPT intern just over one year ago, and today I couldn’t imagine my life without ADEPT and PawPADs. Coming into the program, I had never owned a dog and had absolutely no dog training experience. Over the course of my first year in the internship, I learned more than I could have every imagined about training and about the assistance dog world in general. My college experience has also been enhanced because of the PawPADs dogs. I interact with my professors, other students, and members of the public more, and I feel like I am a bigger part of the campus community. I’ve made countless memories and lifelong friendships thanks to ADEPT. These dogs have changed so many lives in such special ways and I couldn’t have asked for a better organization to be a part of.
Lauren, your “can-do, will-do” spirit is a valued attribute of Americans and sets a great example to our other ADEPT students. You represent PawPADs in the best possible light and that light reflects back on you as a person. Your commitment and work ethic impresses us! Your thoughts and values are important to the organization as we work to make sure our donors' trust well placed.
