Upwardly Global is the only non-profit organization working at the intersection of immigrant/refugee job seekers and employers seeking mid-career professionals in healthcare, IT, technology, and many other industries. I've actively volunteered for UpGlo for more than 5 years now. The stories of humans making cross-border journeys and continuing in meaningful careers in the US are what inspire me to support this cause with my time, my wallet, and my voice!

I was introduced to Upwardly Global by a co-worker, and quickly got more involved after getting to known the vision, programming, and the people involved. I love seeing the tangible impact that UpGlo has in connecting professional-skilled immigrants with meaningful jobs. In fact, I was lucky to have the experience of hiring a job seeker through an UpGlo informational interview. This person joined my team and was one of the most impactful, humble, and driven I've ever worked with. It's easy to get involved as a volunteer and to feel the impact you're having on a job seeker's sense of confidence and hope.
