Review for Kimmel Housing Development Foundation, Great Neck, NY, USA
Some people on LI cannot afford housing and live in temporary shelters or on the street. The Kimmel Housing Development Foundation is the only non-profit organization in Nassau County that has helped build affordable housing in Nassau County for such people. The residents of Apex I (38 units) and Apex II (35 units) are all very grateful to be able to have a place to live and call home that is well maintained and affordable

I can’t think of any changes. I would have the Foundation continue to do what it has been doing in the same manner as it has in the past.
Role: Volunteer & I organized and developed the computer systems for the Foundation and continue to maintain them. I set up a computer system in the Community Room to allow all residents internet access at no cost to them. I also continue to help with mailings and arrang.
