Review for New Community Counseling And Ministries, Naperville, IL, USA

I have had the privilege of volunteering at New Community Ministries for several years. The director, Christine is an excellent example of what it means to be a Christ follower and serve people in the community. Her genuine selfless love for those in need inspire others to want to do the same. I personally have seen the impact that New Community Ministries has had on the lives of those it serves; thru providing healthy food, housing and counseling. This is done in ways that provide a Hand Up rather than a Hand Out, empowering those in need to be a part of the solution. New Community truly is a light of Christ’s love in the world by serving others sacrificially as Christ did for us.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

help them to find a permanent home for the food bank and ministry center.

Role:  Volunteer & Visit hurting people to offer encouragement and prayer. Donate items for the Housing program. Move people into the Housing Program. Donate money to New Community. Volunteer my time to pick up healthy food an distribute it.
